Sam Senders is President of NYSM, Inc., a full service structured settlement brokerage with a concentration in personal injury, medical malpractice, maritime liabilities, and the complicated settlement and judgment math of New York. Sam is also well versed in the technical use of settlement preservation trusts, Medicare (MSA) compliance and the coordination of government benefits, such as Medicaid.

With more than 30 years of experience, Sam brings a seasoned knowledge and a proven record of success to his work as a Structured Settlement Consultant. With a keen understanding of tax-free and tax-deferred settlements Sam helps clients gain perspective when contemplating a settlement that gets cases closed and paid.

To further serve his clients and help them to appreciate New York's challenging settlement math, Sam created an exclusive and proprietary website featuring custom made online settlement calculators. These calculators instantly tabulate cases subject to the New York Medical Indemnity Fund, wrongful death distributions, CPLR 50A/B judgments, and more. Utilizing his expertise in New York settlements and judgments, Sam created a CLE presentation, New York Settlement Math Made Easy!, as a way to further educate his clients. He has presented to the New York Medical Malpractice Defense Association, The Defense Association of New York (DANY), The NYS Academy of Trial Lawyers, the NYS Bar Association (TICL) and New York area law firms and insurers, as well as the New York City and Nassau County Bar Associations.

Sam has been an active member of many industry organizations including the Association for Healthcare Risk Management of New York (AHRMNY) and the Maritime Law Association of the U.S. (Marine Torts and Casualties Committee).

Sam is an avid supporter of the arts and New York's many museums and when he is not structuring settlements or calculating one of New York's challenging mathematical settlements, he can be found exploring New York's rich culture with his family.

Kira Krieger Senders has more than 29 years of experience working as a specialist in marketing and advertising, including eight as Luxury Goods and Retail Director at New York magazine. Under her leadership, the category was the highest grossing for print advertising at the company. Prior to New York, she also worked at Travel & Leisure, Cosmopolitan, and Vogue magazines. Kira is also a co-founder of NYSM LLC. As Vice President of Marketing and Business Development she has put her extensive marketing background to use in promoting the benefits of structured settlements and new business development. Kira was instrumental in the development and design of the unique, proprietary online settlement calculators found at www.nysmllc.com With assistance from her contacts throughout the luxury advertising community, the complicated math of New York settlements was incorporated into a user-friendly calculator interface that created an efficient and streamlined user experience. She also leads the Girl Scout Troop, Troop 3707 which focuses on community service and helping those in need.
